#14 Dover Street Market - 17-18 Dover Street W1

without a doubt THE coolest shop in London...and it is Japanese!! opened by Kawakubo Rei (Commes des Garcons) and housing over 20 shops inside a 5 floor ex-office building on Dover Street, this is the most innovative and quirky shop there is. located in an area with no other shops, only offices, it is a little hard to find but well worth the look. i have only been here twice but i loved it! the labels they stock are great, the Rose Bakery on the 4th floor is really good and the atmosphere in the shop is unique...the only draw back is the staff who are generally "too cool for school"!

#9 The Hideout - 7 Upper James Street W1

cool little clothes shop which sells a range of limited items from japan and america...think Bape, Billionaires Boys Club, Original Fake, Supreme...also stocks some cool toys, books and posters...very near the center of town and a great place to visit...even just for the displays in the windows

本当にかっこいい店です！日本とアメリカのストリートブランドを売って。。。ＢＡＰＥ，ＢＢＣ，ＯＲＩＧＩＮＡＬ　ＦＡＫＥ、ＳＵＰＲＥＭＥなど。。。デザイナーおもちゃ、本、アートもある。ロンドンの中心にあるからぜひ行ってみてね。。。窓のディスプレイは面白いよ！

#6 Sounds of the Universe - 7 Broadwick Street W1

record shops in London are disappearing fast...Mr Bongo, Sister Ray...but Sounds of the Universe is still going strong. they have London's best selection of funk, disco, soul, afrobeat, brazilian...even dubstep and hiphop, vinyl and cd. they also have a great selection of music books if that is your thing. i used to go here once a week to pick up my latest tunes...a great place to bump into famous DJs too...

i used to live in this shop...if you are even slightly interested in art or design then you MUST go to Magma...they have the very best selection of books, magazines, toys, design...the staff are highly knowledgeable and friendly and the shop is always busy with London 'cool' types...a 'must pop in'

my ex-workplace and THE best selection of menswear in London...they stock a wonderful selection of designer labels including Helmut Lang, Alexander McQueen, YMC and Fake...and the staff are friendly. while i was working here famous people used to pop in all the time...David Beckham, Orlando Bloom...
